About the university
The University of Puerto Rico is the largest public institution of higher education in Puerto Rico. Since its foundation in 1903, with eleven campuses throughout the island, the University of Puerto Rico includes respected and innovative programs and course offerings at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Its accreditation agencies include the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Higher Education Council of Puerto Rico, aside from prestigious individual accreditations per programs.
